Six Comprehensive Cabling Considerations for Parking Management Systems

The six aspects that should be noted when wiring a parking system are as follows:
1. Place the controller in a concealed or secure location to prevent intentional malicious damage. Indoor wiring not only needs to be safe and reliable, but also well-planned, neat, and firmly installed.
2. The rated voltage of the conductors used shall be higher than the operating voltage of the circuit; the conductor insulation shall comply with both the circuit installation method and the environmental conditions of the laying location. The cross-sectional area of the conductors shall meet the requirements for power supply and mechanical strength.
3. Integrated cabling should, as much as possible, avoid wire splices. Unless a splice is absolutely necessary, any splice must be tightly crimped or welded and made waterproof. Wire connections and branch-offs should not be subjected to mechanical stress.
4. Wiring should be installed horizontally or vertically within the building. Wiring connections must be protected by conduit (either plastic or galvanized steel pipe, selected according to indoor wiring technical requirements). For ceiling wiring, metal flexible conduit or PVC pipe may be used, but the installation must be secure and aesthetically pleasing.
5. Signal cables must not be run parallel to high-power power cables, nor should they be routed through conduits. If, due to environmental constraints, parallel cabling is unavoidable, the distance between them must exceed 50 centimeters.
6. The AC power supply for the control box shall be wired separately and must not be routed together with signal cables or low-voltage DC power cables in the same conduit. The installation of AC power cables shall comply with electrical installation standards.
The wiring from the control cabinet to the ceiling must be equipped with waterproof conduits embedded in the wall or protected by hot-dip galvanized steel pipes, providing multi-faceted maintenance to enhance the damage resistance of the burglar alarm system.
